This is a configuration file for the Belkin Nostromo n52 Game Pad. I developed it because I was trying to record parts that I was playing on my main keyboard, and I got sick of the awkward reaching needed to run the transport controls. My n52 came to the rescue and handled the handful of commands that I needed. Since then, I have expanded the layout and added more commands.

Notes:

  1. I have recorded most of the P5 keyboard shortcuts as macros (even the single keystokes) so it should be really easy to create a layout that works well for you if you don't like mine.
  2. My layout is pretty raw and doesn't take advantage of any of the obvious features like shift modes.
  3. The Jog forward and Backward commands have a repeat on them that works well for me, your mileage may vary.

I'd really like to see any changes that anyone else can come up with.

Download the file Project5-Nostromo-n52.zip, save, and unzip. You'll end up with the configuration file called Project5.n52 which can be loaded into the Nostromo manager.
